This Fall we are moving to another site and will have to take down and relocate many of our 140+ original murals.
MuralFest is also a Book Release Party commemorating over 140+ original murals, San Francisco's largest collection. Many were commissioned from our Bayview-Hunter's Point neighbors, as well as street art legends like Jeremy Novy, Reuben Rude and Fnnch. Box Shop founder Charlie Gadeken has been hard at work to debut a new book commemorating the murals.
It's your first chance to flip through and to order your own copy!
Come check out the live music, affordable artwork, open studios, and sculpture garden.
Brassica! Brass band plays at 1:30pm.
Pull up a chair to the Art Table led by Hallie McConlogue!
Collage Melange with a side of Exquisite Corpse - Design your own mural ideas using magazine cut outs, color pencils, glue sticks and card stock. Or do a little and pass it on to make a collaborative piece.
This month, artist Dana Albany also leads mosaic-making as a mural skillshare.
