Todd has excellent hand-eye coordination. Often working with ink, paint and collage, he is drawn towards nature and chaos - finding inspiration in wildlife, botany, fantasy and sound - just to name a few.
"Stickin' My Neck Out"
At home, we have have a fridge magnet of an ostrich that I look at everyday. It's nearly the same proportions as the Box Shop panel. I've always wanted to draw or paint it, so I decided to stick my neck out and combine an old style of mine (background) with a new one (wildlife portraits) to see what would happen. Ultimately, scratching that ostrich itch.
